The next run of the Access to Audio for Women course will commence Thursday 31st May This is a FREE 28-week, part-time evening course to help women access level 4 training in Audio such as the FdSc in Sound Engineering and Design. |

Regional Equality in Music (REM) The Regional Equality in Music (REM) Project was commissioned by The School of Sound Recording in 2005. It identified barriers to women’s progression within the areas of sound engineering and DJing and offered recommendations for combating gender inequality. The WISEAMP project was informed by the REM research paper, and was devised using some of the paper's recommendations. The full report can be viewed here (408Kb PDF - requires Adobe Reader).
